THE LATEST TRENDS: what will be hitting us in 2022
We know how some trends can come and go without a second thought, however our love for colours never seems to fade. Colours are the one trend that will never disappoint us and can be used in so many different ways, that’s why in this blog our main focus will be on the top predicted stunning shades we think we’ll be seeing in the seasons of the year 2022. So to see what we think about our seasonal colour pallets, keep on reading:
We’re kicking off to a start with some cool winter blues, and not the kind you’re thinking of. We believe that a spectrum of blues complemented by subtle colours like lilac and cayenne will create such amazing combinations, and are perfect rich colours to layer. Blue is a perfect colour for winter, it is the colour of the mind and is essentially soothing; it affects us mentally, rather than the physically and can calm us down during these quieter soothing winter times.
Moving into Spring we’re heading towards a more muted neutral pallet. The subdued colour ‘Sheepskin’ is set to be one of the most popular colours hitting us in the spring of 2022, then when you start to complement this gorgeous colour, a kind of softness emerges as deep teal shade of Storm Blue and greyed pastel of High-rise start to provide a moody backdrop to warm the colour Sheepskin.
Next up is Summer, the predicted pallet for the summer of 2022 is looking to be one that is going to bring sunny optimism to the most practical spaces wherever it’s added. With stunning colours like a sunflower yellow complemented by dusty pinks sitting alongside lilac which influence a joyful and playful design.
Finally, we’re hitting our Autumn season, even though we said our little homage to the 70’s colour Sunflower yellow would be Summer’s colour, we reckon that it will also be following us into the Autumn season. However, this time instead of being complemented by dusty lighter colours we’re complementing it with a playful pop of Bayberry green and Cashew brown. This Autumn pallet presents an opportunity to reinvent seasonal collections.
