CLASSIC & CASSETTE AWNINGS
Q: Is the fringe of the awning detachable, if we need to remove it post-installation?
A - If the customer would like to remove the fringe at any stage, we can provide a video on how to remove it very easily. The fringe is a piece that slides out by removing the 2 screws on each end cap of the front profile.
Q: What is the minimum required space on the edge of the wall for the awning?
A - In awning systems, in order for our products to be long-lasting and to avoid any damage, there should be at least a 150mm gap between the bracket and the edge of the wall.
Q: Are there any sensors included in motorised awnings prices?
A - Our Cassette Awning System comes with a vibration sensor, which is included in the price. The purpose of the vibration sensor is to detect heavy rains and winds and retract the awning to prevent damage, using radio signals to communicate with the motor. Therefore, it prevents the fabric from being torn and prolongs the life of the awning.
Q: Are your awnings totally waterproof?
A - The fabrics used in our awning systems are water-repellent. GOSS Outdoor awnings are not designed to shelter you from rain. Using this awning in the rain could lead to damage to the awning and/or the mounting surface.
Q: Are your awning systems installed or self-assembled?
A - We have both options available for interested customers who can build these themselves or via their builders or directly with our company. We provide installation instructions for customers who want to install the products themselves.
